GeorgeDarling Love the app and connection to Diarim. Are there any time considerations for the full version. Recognising that it's a one time fee (which I prefer!), does this mean the app is supported for x months/years? Thanks
timo GeorgeDarling Didn't fully understand your question, sorry. What exactly do you refer to with "support"? There are no guarantees from my side regarding how long this app will be updated or bugs will be fixed but I have no plans of stopping it, if that's what you mean.
Geo Hello. I know it’s probably a setting on my phone, but I can’t seem to get the audible alarm to work when using the Pomodoro feature. The Notification Sound setting within the app is turned on. I’m made sure notification within the Os is turned on also. Any ideas how to make the Pomodoro sound audible? I do see the badge notifications. But when I’m working and not specifically looking at my phone while on-task, having the audible alarm would be beneficial. I’m using iPhone 7 on iOS 15.6.1.
timo Geo This is the discussion about the "Pro version", please open a separate discussion for different topics. Please make sure you have not disabled the "Sound" option in the iOS notification settings for WorkingHours. I am currently unable to reproduce this problem on my iPhone test device
Geo timo Thank you. I’ve been using the Pro version for several years and am enjoying it. I just wish I could edit the start and end times, but the recent addition of split time helps with that. Im still unable to get the sound alert to come on, even though settings are all turned on for sound notification. I’ll continue to play around with the settings and restart a new thread if needed. Thanks.
timo Arya Please read the first paragraph of this discussion. It tells you how to restore the Pro version if you have already bought it for a platform. You need to buy the Pro version once per platform if you are using it on multiple devices
yvysunu What about using stripe to manage subscriptions instead of app stores platforms? I think the current model is too complex from a customer perspective since I pay 1$ to have the pro version on android, but the windows version costs 15$, providing almost the same functionality.
timo yvysunu The Pro version on Android doesn't cost $1 - at least not in the US or European countries. It should be around $7. I don't know what the conversion rates are for other currencies. The Play Store and Apple App Store also prohibit using other payment systems (like Stripe) than the ones they provide (like Stripe), so this isn't an option.
PhilippR Thanks for describing that. From a developer perspective that is a really good decision. It is a pain to cross manage purchases / subscriptions over separate stores. Bought on windows right now, hopefully i get the sounds to work. Keep it up =)
RyanWebb Hi Timo, you say Premium is a one-time purchase, but Microsoft have been taking £5.40 from me every month. How do I stop this? I've tried "managing subscriptions" in my Windows account but your app doesn't show, only Microsoft own apps show.
timo RyanWebb That charge must be from something else, perhaps a subscription of a different app. What makes you believe this comes from WorkingHours? Have you contacted Microsoft support?
RachelM This is a really helpful app, and a helpful article explaining the pro version. The app has saved me enormous time and stress counting project hours manually. I love the one-off purchase. And I appreciate the clear explanation of why we have to purchase it on iOS and again on MacOS. Given how affordable it is and it has saved me approximately 2 hours per week I'm happy to do so. Please keep it as useful as it is. Thank you.
ChronosHD Hi, loving your app. Sometimes the GPS tracking doesn't kick in and counting of work hours doesn't start. I have battery optimisation turned off for this app and usually works fine, but 2/10 it does not. Could you fix it?
timo ChronosHD I assume you are referring to the Android version? All I know/can say about the topic of GPS detection I have written here. There might be some more things you can test out but at the end of the day there's not really anything I know of that I could do to improve it. The detection totally depends on the Google Play Services
DCoughler I'm trying to purchase the Pro version, but it is not letting me change the Country value. Is this an issue in the software or my account? My MS account seems to be set up correctly.
timo This is a problem/bug of Windows. You need to set the correct "Region" in your Windows settings. Currently it seems to be set to "United States"
