App does not load

Hi I installed 2.8.0.0 app in the Windows 10 but in the past two days I haven't been able to open the app. The app window opens but the interface does not load. How can I solve the problem or access the hours I have recorded in this app?

No idea what the problem could be (likely a Windows issue).
I suggest backing up the database (see here) and then reinstalling the app

timo Thanks I was able to find the data file located on my laptop. I converted it into excel. How do I interpret the start, end and duration numbers? I imagine it would contain data and time. For example, in one row I have Start 637405056000000000, End 637405131300000000 and Duration 75300000000

I can't reproduce it and I haven't changed anything startup-related in the last updates.
Is your Windows up-to-date and no updates pending?

But why do you want to manually work with the database? Did reinstalling the app not work?

timo I just saved the data.db file elsewhere and reinstalled the app. The app works again now but I don't know how to import the db file back (I tried putting it back to the Appdata folder but nothing happened). Sorry, I'm really not savvy at technical work. Is there a simple to convert the NET ticks to date, time, and hours?

You need to copy it back to where it came from but when the app is not running.
On the next start, the data will show up again.
Glad to hear a reinstall fixed it.

LolaZhang I did it for you.

What I did was to apply this formula:
=G2/(10000000 * 60 * 60 * 24)-693593
And set the cell formatting to "Date time" (from Format -> Number).

LolaZhang I am not able to reproduce this problem. Maybe you didnt put back the right file or on the wrong location.
