Text entry lag in description field on Mac version

Hello, I've been using the Pro version on Windows, Android, and Mac OS for 2-3 years now, and I've noticed a persistent bug in the Mac version.

Text entry is extremely laggy for Work Unit descriptions. In the Time Tracker view, if I click on a work unit to add details or modify the time, then click inside the 'Description' field and start typing, my keystrokes are buffered, and the rest of the app is unresponsive until all keystrokes have finished. This ONLY occurs in the description field; Details works fine with no lag. It also occurs whether or not time is currently being tracked. I don't experience this on Android or Mac OS but I do have Google Drive syncing enabled between all three.

I can provide a screen recording showing the behavior if helpful (it's too large to attach to this post). Thanks in advance if this can be addressed!

This would indeed be useful as I am unable to reproduce this on my device with my database.
When entering text to the description field, the app searches for other descriptions that you previously entered for your other work units and provides them as text completion suggestions. When there are many work units and/or many (different) descriptions, this could cause the lag. Maybe you could share your database with me so I can try to reproduce this and also search for possible ways to improve performance there.
