In Analytics, how about merging Timespan and Earnings ?

Having using that app for few weeks only I wonder if that Timespan | Earnings switch is that useful.
The switch between Lines and Bars make sense as it lets us choose clearly how we want to visualize the data, but the first one I have my doubts.
I wish I could simply see those 2 infos at once (Task name: Timespan / Earnings) instead of having to switch back and forth constantly. UX wise that would be better in my opinion.
Does that make sense or I am missing something here?

damdam Time span and earnings don’t necessarily correlate. Some work units include a duration but no earnings, while others (for example when using tags) may have earnings without any recorded duration.

That means the chart would effectively need to display twice as many lines or bars to represent both dimensions properly.
