Absent pause will reset timer

Hello,

I've noticed a change in how the timer's auto-pause feature functions. Previously, when the timer would automatically pause due to inactivity, it would resume from the exact moment it stopped.

Now, after an auto-pause, the timer resumes from an earlier point in time, causing a loss of tracked time.

Could you please clarify if this is an intended new feature or a potential bug?

Not sure if I understand correctly. When using the inactivity feature, and a 1-minute inactivity causes the timer to pause, the work unit duration is automatically deducted 1 minute, the timer in fact paused/stopped the moment the last user input was detected. This behavior isn't new has been the same since months.
Maybe you can clarify what you mean?ors

timo Thank you for your reply. Yes, that is exactly what I observed recently.

At least for the macOS versions, previously, when the time auto-pauses, it will resume from the exact moment it stopped, no subtraction by itself or whatever.

Actually that makes sense, the timer pauses because it detects no human inputs, but actually I was still working (e.g. reading/staring on the screen, etc.) with no active mouse/keyboard input, but indeed I was still working, so the old behavior aligns more to what I expected...
