Export to Excel for selected tasks

I can't work out how to export to Excel for just one selected task (not to organise by task, but to show only that task and total hours for that task) I work with different clients and need to be able to extract data for each client. Is this possible on this app? I can get per client data in the Analytics but for export (I work around by organising the export data per task, deleting the ones I don't need, having hours and minutes in separate columns and manually converting minutes to decimals so I can get a final total in Excel!!!)

You can filter by task in the time tracking page. Does this not work? There should be a hint text directly next to the Export button that informs you about where to filter. Is this text not visible enough?

I have the same question/issue. I track my time by client. I am creating a Task for each client. I then select that task every time I'm doing work for that client. While the Export function offers a couple of options for "grouping" things, including tasks, the export still includes all of the tasks within the selected time frame. It does not appear to allow me to export time for only one task (i.e., client) during that time frame.
