Lost Data

I just updated the WorkingHours app on my MacBook Air and have lost all the data. How can I restore it?

WorkingHours version: 2.12.3
OS + version: Sequoia 15.5
Device model: 2024 air M3

WorkingHours never resets or deletes the database on its own (except when you manually and explicitly use the "reset database" button in the app settings) - perhaps macOS or some other app removed the database file? Or did you reinstall the app instead of updating it? Or are you using TimeMachine and macOS did replace the database file with an outdated version of it?
Are you using the Cloud Sync (it is highly recommended and WorkingHours regularly recommends using it)?

I had just started using cloud sync.....or so I thought. I updated the app on my Mac and it seems to have reset - not just lost the data, but clients and projects as well. I guess I must have hit reset in there somewhere, but I would have thought there's a warning message to make sure you don't do it by accident??

Chris Yes the "reset database" button in the app shows confirmation dialog that you have to confirm before the app resets the database. What sync option did you use? Does reconnecting to the same Cloud service not re-download your data?
