Time format trouble

I'm pretty sure I could enter time in a 24-hour format before..? I hadn't used the program for a few months and also migrated to a new Mac, so I reinstalled it. Now, when I started entering time as "20", the program takes it as "2" and enters "14" for "2 PM". This is super confusing! Please allow the selection of time format: 12h / 24h and "auto" if you want to keep the current hybrid format. I don't use the 12-hour format anywhere on the system (if I can help it), but a standard 12-hour format would still be preferable over this auto-conversion. Because it shows the time in 24-hour format, the user assumes the time can be entered in 24-hour format, but then the above happens: "2" results in "14" when trying to enter "20".

While this is technically not a bug, for me the current time-entry approach qualifies as such, hence "Bug reports" tag. :-]

I'm on Sequoia, using WorkingHours 2.11.23.

Also, what langauge & region settings do you have in macOS?
I assume the checkbox for "24-hour time" is checked under "General -> Datee & Time"?

If you have set your macOS to 24h mode but the app uses 12h mode, then this would be a bug

Yes, I have the "24-hour time" checked under "General → Date & Time". The language/region is "United States", and the languages in use are: "English (US) — Primary", and "Suomi" (Finnish).

The language/region settings are a mix otherwise:
Temp: °C
Measurement system: US
First day of week: Monday
Date format: 2025-08-19

I switched from Sonoma to Sequoia exactly when I switched computers and used WorkingHours last on the old system. Apple tied some of the time settings more closely with Region in Sequoia, so that might be the reason why this works differently now. If there's a problem making the app follow the system time setting reliably, a 12/24h option within the app's settings would work just as well. Optimally, the date format would also be adjustable, although the US format date is less distracting than the 12-hour time.

Thanks for the additional info.
After some digging, I finally found the cause for this behavior. It was introduced by a change I made with the last update that made sure that the "working time" and "break" pickers would be in 24h mode (because under the hood, these are basically time picker and would show AM/PM time in certain situations).
I made some adjustment to that change and now it looks like everything works as it should. Will be in the one of the next updates (not in the next one, because I uploaded that already earlier today).
