Quicker Export: when simply exporting the current work week?

Hello, I would like to have a much smoother export experience than I currently do, every week.

Every week I export for the past Monday-Friday. This requires quite a few clicks to achieve, even though it's a standard workweek. I also simply save the file to the same folder, overwriting the previous one.

IF there any way to make the Export exercise smoother/quicker? Am I missing something?

I haven't found any discussions addressing this; apologies if I missed it though. I've used the search term "export quickly".

You can select "this week" in the export panel screen and that selection should "stick". Is that not working? Or is it too hard to find? You didn't mention on what operating system you are using the app (although there are placeholders for that in the post template) so I can't provide more specifc help.

I noticed this drop down arrow today for the first time, although I'd looked for something like it before. I noticed because for some reason I couldn't activate the calendar when I was doing the usual to select the start and end dates, and I started looking around the UI more desperately than ever. I could've sworn it was new, so came back to this thread to see if it was added because of my comment; but I see you posted this reply (sorry I took ages to respond, I didn't have my notifications setup apparently), so it must've always been there. In any case, yes, this works.

I did note that the FAQ post stating that the app's data is stored in a data.db file 🤔 I got slightly curious and wondered if that might make my life even easier still. Accessing .db files would be new to me though, and after 30 minutes of playing with Python in Excel, and PowerQuery in Excel, I still can't access the file... So not hopeful!

MKovacs The .db file is a SQLite file and you could use apps like this one to open and inspect it. I would however recommend to not alter the database the app works on, as it could lead to problems or crashes.
