in the Combo Box you could see all GroupTags (collapsed) and the Tags without groups. It's like a folder structure.
Here an example of all tags, not collapsed:
- Some Tag
- another Tag
- Meeting general
- Group Meeting
- Meeting with A
- Meeting with B
- Meeting with C
- Group Invoice
- Invoice January
- Invoice February
- Invoice March
- Invoice April
In the "Time Tracking" Combobox "Add Tag" your see Tags without a group and the GroupTags (are collapsed):
- Some Tag
- another Tag
- Meeting general
- Group Meeting
- Group Invoice
If you click in the ComboBox on the GroupItem "Group Invoice" you just fold out that GroupItem, you can't add the group to your time tracking:
- Some Tag
- another Tag
- Meeting general
- Group Meeting
- Group Invoice <-- after click
- Invoice January
- Invoice February
- Invoice March
- Invoice April
After that you can choose some SubTag.
If you have just groups it would be also working:
- Group Meeting
- Group Invoice <-- after click
- Invoice January
- Invoice February
- Invoice March
- Invoice April
I think just one group level is enough. To have in a group and another group would be to much.
If you like you could also add a whole group to the export function or by the Tag-Filter (it's like choose all "meetings", you just activate all checkboxs of the SubTags in the Group).
But for me would be ok to have just the group just for the organization of the Tags, I don't need it for the export or filter.
The Groups could be have a special icon instead a circle (folder icon or a square or whatever)
