timo what is the time picker? where do I see it? I still see the rounding of work times in the general tab of settings.

The time picker has nothing to do with rounding - the option was called time picker precision. And because of that confusion I removed the settings.
You can select the new time picker in the app settings ("Personalization" tab)

It is very annoying that I have to pick the differernt minutes now instead of just choosing 00, 15, 30, 45.
Will this function come back or what is the alternative? I do not report on minutes.

timo I was playing around with different settings and also with the new time picker. They are all way to slow and I don't think that many people are using the single minutes selection (except lawyers with an hourly rate of 750 EUR+...). There must be a way how to easily enter the hours on a 15 minutes split bases - this is what I expect to get back as a function.

I didn't find it confusing, and it worked really well for me before. So well than now it's changed I have gone to the trouble of creating an account to post here.

I enter time after the event, not while it is happening, to 15 minute intervals. Doing time entry that way I find neither of the current options is as good as being able to pick form 0/15/30/45 - I round to 15 minutes. The Alternative Time Picker is useable and I am continuing to use the app with that because it's a great app and your support is excellent. However, I hope you consider bringing the old ability to pick from your rounded time list for minutes back .... perhaps as another option selection for those who want to use it.

The Mac version of WorkingHours has a similar time picker as the new alternative one in the Windows version (which by the way is the default time picker for macOS) and I haven't heard any complaints from those users yet. So it certainly seems to be usable.

Like all the others, i miss the rounding in the manual entries. Me tok, will consider a new App. I did get a pro license, but with 60 minutes to scroll, what a pain. I’m a SW PM too, so if you have in a few days sooo many ppl complaining, I hope this lets u understand that we and many more, REALLY want that feature back!!!!
Somebody did not read the market need well....

JulianLuescher As I already mentioned above, I would be very grateful if you could point me to another app that has a less confusion time picker that allows for faster time selection than the new one I just added with the last update.
I am not trying to make life harder for you, the problem was just that the time picker was displaying an inaccurate time when the "time picker precision" option was used in combination with tracking the time using the timer.
If you have some good suggestions on how to improve the new "keyboard time picker", I am all ears!

Hi Timo, I'm with the other users - I'm asked to bill in 15 min blocks, and it's a bit annoying to have to scroll single minutes; it was a lot cleaner for me to have it rounding to the nearest 15 mins. Since this has changed I've found myself using the tool a lot less too; I've been using it for 4 years now. I realise the difficulties in implementing change - you can't keep everyone happy, but really your previous options worked perfectly, I don't understand why some people couldn't make it work. It couldn't have been simpler!

The option was no nearest rounding option. E.g. when the time was 12:29 and you had a "timer picker precision" of 15min, the time picker would show 12:15. That's what I mean by "the option caused confusion". And exactly for that reason I removed it 🙂
