Daily total is inaccurate in special circumstances

WorkingHours version: 2.9.14.0
OS + version: W11

Certain hours totals do not display correctly. For example a total of 0.87 hours + 9.13 hours displays a total of 91.0 hours but if I add or subtract 1 minute from "End of work" it totals correctly. Seems the total should be 10.0 hours but with floating point there could be rounding issues.

Analytics does return an overall correct total. Think it's just a display issue.

Thanks for the screenshots. Hard to deny something is wrong here.
Unfortunately I am unable to reproduce the problem.
Can you tell when the hours starts displaying wrongly? Is it right after you create a work unit manually or after you stop the timer. Or every time after you restart the app?
Also, when this problem happens, is it being resolved by either navigating to another screen (e.g. settings) and back? Or scrolling the list further down and back up again?
If there is a situation where the total is wrong even after restarting the app, it would be great if you could send me a backup of your database for me to better investigate this (and to determine if the problem is a display problem or if there are actually wrong times store in the database).

Similar issue using Version 2.9.19 on macOS. Total for the day shows up as 71.0 (should be 2.89+4.55+0.55 = 7.99).

I added a 15 minute work unit, and the total went to 8.25. I deleted it, and it went back to 71.0 (so it is consistent, given the same data, and probably not so intermittent). Also, I shut down the app and restarted, then deleted the 15 minute work unit, and still, the total went to 71.0, so consistent even across app restart.

I feel like a database backup would really help me reproducing and fixing this bug.
Based on your screenshots I see that you are both using the decimal time format - does the problem still happen when you switch to another time format in the app settings?
Do the wrong total times also show up in the Analytics screen and when exporting an Excel file? Or is it only in the time tracking list?

EDIT: I will re-write the formatting logic for the decimal time-formatting in the hopes that this will fix the issue with the next update.

In the Analytics screen, the bar chart height is correctly scaled, though the hover tooltip shows the 71.0 formatted total hours. If I switch formatting to 10:33:55 format, the total appears as 7:59:55. If I go back to decimal format (10.55) and choose Round up to next minute, it shows 8:03. If I format in minutes, it shows 479 min (but if I Round up to next minute, it shows 482 min).
Export to Excel (and grouping by day), I don't see this problem (it shows 8.0):

I'm reluctant to share database backup without some approval from my employers, since they're fussy about leaking information, but if you can't figure it out from what I can give you, I can talk to them about whether it is okay.

Thanks for your detailed explanation.
I think the problem is just the formatting then, which I adjusted in the code as I mentioned. Let me know if the problem continues with the next update.
