MacOS menu bar "total today" does not become transparent

Thanks for the great app. I've been a long-time user using this app on PC, iOS, and now macOS, and wanted to say kudos for creating such a wonderful app.

Now the bug report on macOS. When using multiple monitors (and "Displays have separate Spaces" option in System Preference is turned on), the default behavior of macOS is to make the menubar transparent (₅₀% perhaps) when you are not actively on that particular display.

When the option to display "Total today" next to the menu bar icon is turned on, this variable remains non-transparent no matter what. The "Current timer" does not have this problem.

That MacOS menu bar behaves so weirdly sometimes. I think I was able to fix it though. Will be in the next update v2.9.14

I am experiencing a similar behavior with the icon becoming invisible, except without multiple monitors, on a laptop, it happens when the list seems to get too close to the area of the camera. The screenshot doesn't capture the black gap so I drew it in the second pic, noting there's some space but probably won't fit the icon. I managed to reproduce by adding a timer on the clock to push things left. If you know a workaround on how to sort icons in menubar I'd be happy, but can't find one yet.

If there are too many menu items and all of them don't fit, then those are automatically hidden by MacOS - nothing I can do against that.

timo Thanks Timo, so no chance of getting some priority number on the menubar icon? eg: I don't know why the music or other icon take precedence - ie: they get accommodated to the right of the working hours icon, or others somehow appear to the right and therefore working hours is the one suffering the truncation.

At least I found for anyone ending here, a workaround feature I didn't know is that the dock bar right click menu helps change task when that happens.

I do know of any way to give my own menu item a higher priority than the others. If there was such a possibility, I would assume all or most app developers would give their own menu item the highest priority, defeating the intent.
I would have to google myself now to see if there's any ways or tools to workaround that.
