I am german, but I ll add my Feature request in english anyway, so everybody can read it.
First: Thanks for all your great apps! Saved me a lot of time throughout.
After using WorkingHours extensively I also had a look and bought SubTotal since it would save me even more time when doing my invoices. But, to be honest its not quite there yet for me. As a designer I want to have my invoices at a high standard of design as well and understandably the app is limited in that regard. But some easy tweaks would really make me consider using the app since invoices could be created with one click.
1. Please improve the way the app handles second pages.
Currently the table just gets cut off when the space runs out and the overflow doesnt really look good. It would be better when not only the footer but the header gets copied to the second page. Also: Please add the feature of a subtotal (funny right) row when the invoice breaks to a second page. This needs to be copied in the header of the second page respectively.
2. Improve the text styling options
I know this costs a lot of time to do but it could be done without including a styling editor or something. Just make the text boxes in SubTotal handle "rich-text" so i could just copy styling options like bold text and bullet point lists for clients, tasks and task details. This would massively increase the readability and design of the invoice.
I will upload an example invoice with a design I made with Adobe Indesign so you know what I am talking about.
And to be perfectly clear here, I am not expecting you to give me all the freedom I have with a professional tool like Indesign. I really really want to stop using indesign for my invoices but unfortunately am hard to please when it comes to design. If these changes are too much for an app like Subtotal i would totally understand that!!
