Change Pomodoro Volume

Please, for the love of god, let us change the volume of the pomodoro notification sound.
It is just so loud for me, and changing the application volume in the windows' mixer doesn't work, as it always resets no matter what. I can't count the times these notifications blew out my eardrums in the middle of work, but on the other side I can't turn off the sound completely either, because it would be useless for me to use pomodoro without the notification.
