Ignore or include timezone in calculation of hours

Operating system: Android 12/One UI 4.0

I use the app for travel time as well and if I keep counter running across timezones, the calculation is wrong (If I remember correctly).
I will be traveling from South Korea to Denmark on Tuesday, and I will test it there.
Really like the app btw! 👍

The app doesn't store any timezones and always uses the local time of the device.
Changing that would require a database scheme change (that I want to avoid) and also would introduce other problems and obstacles.

An observation (iOS 16.6.1):
Recently I was on travel across timezones.

for the outward trip the timezone setting of my device was manual, during flight I was on flight mode, and accidentally a WH timer was still running. I don't remember details, but I manually switched my timezone to destination, and "somehow" also WH timer showed the correct local times.
then I activated "automatical timezone detection" in my system settings.
after my return home, the system time was showing correct local times as expected. But WH still was in the other timezone, and wouldn't switch back (I noticed that only a few days later, and had to correct my times manually).
I tried several things, like "manual timezone", switch back and forward between the timezones, etc, but WH kept sticking to the other zone
finally I stopped and restarted the app (swiped it out of memory and restarted). This helped to correct the WH timezone back to my local time.

Conclusion: it looks as if the app reads the current time zone at startup, but then never refreshes (at least on iOS - possibly this is general behaviour for iOS apps?) Note: I am now on WH 2.10.7, my travel was 2 weeks ago.
