App hangs and crashes a few seconds after startup after update to 2.8.0.0

I opened a new thread because the previous ones said that app does not start. Mine starts fine, it even works for a few seconds, but hangs afterwards and is closed a second or two later. I checked using Visual Studio and there was an unhandled exception inside the application (that I could not view of course, as I don't have the pdb file).

I'd be glad if I can help track the exception.

WorkingHours version: 2.8.0.0
OS + version: Windows 10 21H1 (Build 19043.1387)

Looking at my crash reporting, I now found a crash that would fit to what you describe (and I can fix).
Did you buy WorkingHours through the Microsoft Store or via my website/Gumroad?
What laptop/PC model are you using?

Fixed a bug that caused the app to crash when the app wasn't able to validate the previously entered license key due to a network problem. Will upload new version 2.8.1 soon. I assume this is what caused the problems in your case.
