Timer runs automatically

The timer appears to start the minute I "wake up" my laptop. I am not always charging the client when I am typing something on my keyboard. I have searched the settings and don't see anything about an automatic timer. I have the "detect workplace arrival/departure" turned off. What am I missing?

WorkingHours version: 2.7.4
OS + version: MacOS Monterey 12.0.1

there are settings under the "timer control" tab that can start the timer when the user stops being idle, I assume this causes the automatic start
