Anzeige der Zeitanalyse fehlerhaft

Hi Timo,
eine richtig tolle App hast du da entwickelt.
Ich nutzte diese seit kurzem und bin begeistert.
Habe natürlich auch schon die Pro erworben 🙂

Allerdings ist mir folgendes aufgefallen:
Ich möchte meine Aufaben über den Tag grob einteilen und habe dafür Tags erstellt.
Weiterhin möchte ich meine Wochenarbeitszeit mittracken und habe dafür einen Regelarbeitszeit-Tag erstellt (40).
Jetzt habe ich in der Zeiterfassung für den gestrigen Tag allen Elementen die Tags "Arbeitszeit 40h" und "Softwareentwicklung" zu gewiesen. In der Zeiterfassungsübersicht wird die Arbeitszeit korrekt mit 9:45 berechnet.
In der Analyseübersicht, werden jedoch beide Tags addiert und damit 18,9 h Arbeit ausgegeben (9:45 Arbeitszeit, 9:45 Softwareentwicklung). Hier sollte dann auch die korrekte Arbeitszeit ausgegeben werden.
Vermutlich werden Tags vom Typ Standard auch für die Arbeitszeitberechnung herangezogen - von der Definition her wäre es aber falsch?

Hi Manuel! Wäre es möglich mir hier einen Screenshot zukommen zu lassen der das Problem visualisiert? Mir sind keine Bugs in der Analyse-Ansicht bekannt.
Hast du in der Analyse das Gruppieren basierend auf Aufgaben oder Tags eingestellt? Beim Gruppieren nach Tags wäre eine Addition dieser Zeiten wie von dir beschrieben das erwartete Verhalten

I would like to contribute to the same topic, however I can provide screenshots for the incorrect display in the analysis of tags in the bar display and hope that this will enable you to understand the description of the error.

The examples come from two completely different computers, each with independent databases.

The error can therefore be described as reproducible. In order to be able to distinguish between the two examples, one is shown in a dark Windows design, the other in a light Windows design.

Please note in the respective examples that the number of hours of the Tag bar display in each case goes beyond the number of hours of the tasks and thus the time periods for each individual day fall completely out of the actual time frame. To ensure a better comprehensibility for you, I have added markers and arrows and put a comparative display with the length of tasks against it.

Another problem is the fact that sometimes the bar display for tag analysis does not work. Then only a restart of the program helps. - Not good ... I think you have heard / read this several times in this forum.

I did not understand what you mean with the "another problem" description. Please also explain in the mail (in German language, makes it easier for both of us 🙂)

Hello Timo,
we had a long dialogue via Skype about the mentioned problem. (Many thanks for that)
Now I can see that I am not alone with my thoughts.
Would you like to change the issue to another category, but no longer "not reproducible / no bug"?
Do you plan to improve the issue with the tags, which are nowadays being cumulative instead of being distributed as a percentage of the total work time in a day?
Maybe you are willing to move this issue to a feature request?

Dear Timo,

with all necessary respect for your work, but it saddens me a little that I now have to address the same inconsistent issue again.

I find it extremely regrettable that the temporal addition of all tags is completely useless - regardless of how much thought and effort you have put into the presentation and what a serious intention you originally had.

Please try to understand again what (not only) I am trying to tell you: Adding up all the tags blows up the total working time of a day. This is completely illogical.

I am always ready for a personal exchange and ultimately hope for your agreement on the matter.

I would want to continue using this otherwise very good program. It would be such a shame to have to use another one.

I still believe it does make equally little sense to have the time distributed as percentage. What unit should the y-Axis be labeled in such a case? Percentage? Or time? Let's say you worked on 4 different work units today: 2h on a work unit tagged with "tag A", another 2h on a work unit with "tag B", another 2h on a work unit with both "tag A" and "tag B" and then another 2h on a work unit without any tag. What is the app supposed to show in the Analytics for such a scenario?

Thank you for your message. I did not really understand your points. Not because I don't want to, but because you probably have a completely different view or understanding of the matter. I would like to have this explained to me in more detail. Roughly speaking, I would use time as a unit for the y-axis.

Maybe we could share our screens to create a better understanding. - What do you think?

Above you suggest using a percentage instead of time, but I don't understand how this is supposed to work, therefore it would be great if you could create a sketch how you imagine this data to be represented on the Analytics chart:

1h work tagged with "A"
2h work tagged with "B"
3h work tagged with "A" & "B"
4h work without any tag

This is how the data is displayed at the moment, which you describe as "completely useless". So my question would be, how should the data be displayed instead?
