Android Widget Disappeared

I previously had the Diarium widget on my home screen, that allowed me to start a new entry with one tap. That widget has now disappeared, and is no longer available in my widgets. Am I doing something wrong, or is the widget no longer available?

If we'll no longer have access to the widget, can we get the app to automatically assume we mean today's date when we create a new entry?

I really liked being able to tap once and start writing my entry. Without the widget it's now four taps (I keep Diarium in my side dock.) Even if I move Diarium to my home screen, it still requires three taps to start an entry. (Open app, new entry, select date.) Would love to see the widget come back!

Are you sure it is no longer available in your widget list? It is for me and I can add it without issues. Might be a problem with your launcher if it doesn't show up any more.
Also, is this about WorkingHours or Diarium? This is the WorkingHours forums

It's for Diarium, apologies. This is where Google directed me when I looked for Diarium help.

Unfortunately the Diarium widget isn't available for me in my widgets screen. I even rebooted my phone, but that didn't help. No idea why it has disappeared. But if you didn't change anything, clearly the problem is on my end. Thank you. 🙂

I did change something on the widget and I added features that were introduced with Android 12, but I am not able to reproduce any problems on my test devices...
