Currently, when you pop out what you call overlays (either timer from the main section or the Pomodoro timer), the windows by default land somewhere near the main window upper right corner. On whatever monitor the main window/app happens to be.
Issue I have is, that I have 4 monitors, one of which I use as a kind of parking area. It holds status windows for running background tasks, remote SSH status windows, ... , ...
After popping out the overlay windows, they current show up at this quite inconvenient position (since that is on a monitor where i am working), and I then manually have to move them to the "parking area monitor" where I want them to sit. Every time the app starts.
It would be nice if the app would save/remember the last status/position/size of the overlay windows so they automatically land where the user last planted them.
Saving/remembering these items:
a) Whether the overlays were activated (pop them out automatically when the app starts, if they were out last).
b) Save their last position (where I placed the windows), such that when opened they by default land in that same position.
c) Remember their last window size. Since I resize them (especially the main overlay to see Project names (Work units) to quickly switch between projects), and to fit a column of other status windows.
