How should I update Gumroad version of android app?

I have purchased the android version of WorkingHours from Gumroad, and now I don't know how I can update it to the latest version. I have tried getting the app from Google Play but I cannot find anywhere to put my license key.

I'm using the trial version of the app in the meantime.

BTW, thanks for the awesome app. You've improved my life a lot!

WorkingHours version: 2.7.1 trial, 2.6.7 Gumroad version
OS + version: Havoc-OS 2.9, Android 9

The Gumroad version of WorkingHours for Android is a fallback version that is recommended only for users that don't want or can not have the Google Play Services / Store on their phone. Therefore the app is not listed publicly.
There are no automatic updates and you would need to download the APK manually and update manually.
But I also create new updates for the Gumroad version way less often as it is additional effort for only a handful of users. I will only create new versions for Gumroad in case the old version is not (sync)compatible with the WorkingHours versions on the other platforms

Isn't it possible to have the Play store version also accept the license keys from Gumroad?
