pomodoro: Ping not playing

OS + version: Win10

Hi I use the app since many years now. I like the pomodoro addition.
I used this feature on an android phone before wich worked more or less fine.
However now I want to use it on Win10 and the time does not play the ping when a pause starts or ends.

Do you have your Windows notifications enabled? Is the Pomodoro notification triggering/showing?
Do you have the app closed / minimized when a pomodoro is finishing?

I think the activation is enabled. See screenshot.
However there is no banner showing, when the pause starts.
I had the app open on another monitor.

There must be some problem with the notification system on your Windows then which is preventing the notifications to show up.
You can try to disable the notifications in the settings screen you posted, perhaps then WorkingHours will fall back to the alternative sound playback
