Purchase/Subscription not recognized across devices (Android → Mac)

Hi,

I use the "Work Hours" app (paid version) on my Android phone to track my work hours with the timer. I start the timer when I begin work and stop it when I'm done.

I'd now like to use the app on my Mac as well, to view or continue the same data there. The problem: when I open the app on the Mac, I'm asked to purchase a subscription again. My existing paid version isn't recognized, even if I use the same email address

I suspect this is because my purchase was made through the Google Play Store (Android), while the Mac version apparently runs through a different store or payment system (Apple doesn't offer the Play Store). As a result, the Android and Mac versions don't seem to be linked to the same user account.

My question: Is there a way to link my existing purchase (Android/Play Store) to the Mac version, so I don't have to pay again? If there's an in-app account (email login) that syncs purchases across devices, I'd appreciate instructions on how to set that up.

WorkingHours does not use its own user accounts, so purchases cannot be linked using an email address. Android and macOS use different app stores, and the Pro version must therefore be purchased separately for each platform. The macOS version is a one-time purchase, not a subscription.

This is stated on the WorkingHours website, directly on the Pro version page before purchasing, and in the Pro version FAQs.

After purchasing Pro on macOS, you can use cloud sync to synchronize your data between both devices.
