You have another recommendation to be able to set a number of hours to a task. That request is potentially complementary to this one. With a competative product I could set an alert/notification when I was reaching a set number of hours per month. I now also have a client who wants to gate blocks of time. So my request is to be able to setup an alert/notification when I approach a number of hours. It would be fine to use the existing Tasks, so I'm invisioning the option to input a number, the total hours, and if that number is per period, e.g. per month, or to set it where it's just a total number of hours without any defined period.
For example: I have a client that we've agreed to 20 hours per month. Each month when I get to 80%, 90%, and 95% of the monthly hours, I get a notification (in the app, email or text are all fine, but any particular method is not critical for an MVP).
Second example: I have a client that just likes to get a notice when I reach 20 hours. This might take a week, or three months, doesn't matter. As I approach the 20 hours, I get notices.
