Bulk Task Switches

I find my self leaving my default task set too long, so I errantly log a lot of time blocks to the wrong task when I switch what I'm working on. It's very tedious to go back to dozens of logged time blocks and change them by hand with a mouse.

Is there any way that I can change these in batches, even if it's with a text editor, or a DB query, or something outside the program?

You can already change the task for multiple work units at once:

Set Group work units to a suitable period, such as weeks or months.
Optionally use filters to limit the affected work units.
Open the context menu of the group heading and select the desired Task.

This changes the task for all currently visible work units in that group. Editing the database manually is neither necessary nor recommended.
