Tag Handling for "Duplicate" and "Continue Work"

HI Timo,

I am using your Pro-App for several years and it is almost perfect for my Work.

As an IT-Consultant I have multiple Customers with each having multiple Projects / Budgets.
This is my "Hierarchy" in terms of Tasks (=Customers) and Tags (=Budgets / Projects).

I use Standard Tags assigned to my tasks (=customers). But of course these Standard Tag assignment is only valid for only a part of the Activities.

I often use either "Copy Activity" (e.g. for recurring "Daily Meetings" or "Continue Activity" for actual daily work) - and important - in both cases the "Standard" Tag assignment might NOT be the correct one due to being lately changed for a new project while copying or continuing activities for an older project.

It would be very helpful for both actions "Copy" and "Continue" if just the tags assigned to the activity in question would be copied to the new activity.

Something like "if tags are assigned - just copy these tags - do not additionally assign the "Standard" Tag".

I know this might be not a general approach but may be a "Copy/Continue"-Switch: "Do not assign Standard Tag" would be possible.

I am using the Windows version.

Thanks for the detailed explanation.

I checked this and agree. Continue Work should copy the tags from the selected time entry, just like Duplicate already does.

I changed this for the next update. Starting a new timer for a task will still use the task's current default tags.
