WorkingHours version: 2.16.26
OS + version: iOS 15.1
Device model: MacBook Air
Hi,
I hope you're well! I've only just started using WorkingHours and immediately purchased the Pro version as I could see how useful it would be for me, so first of all thank you for building such a great app!
I did want to flag a bug I've come across though, as I think once fixed it would enhance the experience for everyone.
I'm based in the UK on BST (UTC+1) and my Mac's system clock and timezone are both correct. The issue seems to be with how working time is being calculated and displayed. Here are two scenarios that I've experienced:
Scenario 1 — Starting work via a saved task at 1:05pm BST:
• Start of work: 1:05pm ✓ (correct)
• Working time: 12:00am ✗ (should show 0:00 or similar as it just started)
• After working for 3 minutes, the time spent shows as 0 seconds rather than 3 minutes
Scenario 2 — Adding a new work unit manually via the plus icon at 1:05pm BST:
• Day: 05/05/2026 ✓ (correct)
• Start of work: 12:05pm ✗ (one hour behind my local time)
• End of work: 1:05pm ✓ (correct)
• Working time: 1:00am ✗ (should display 1:00 as a duration, not as a time of day)
So in both cases the working time field appears to be displaying incorrectly, and in scenario 2 the start of work is also pulling the wrong time despite my device clock being correct.
I noticed in your forum that you mentioned the app doesn't store timezones and always uses the local time of the device, but in these cases it doesn't seem to be doing that consistently.
I'm happy to send screenshots if that would help narrow things down. Thanks so much for your time and I look forward to the app working fully for me!
