Querying the database

WorkingHours version: 2.16.2.0
OS + version: Windows 11 Enterprise 10.0.22631

I understand the database is not particularly accessible.

I would really like to simplify how I get my data out of WorkingHours, and into another sheet that reshapes the data I need (Each week) into a format that works for another system I have to deal with.

This would be made much easier if there was a way to simply use PowerQuery to extract the data.

I don't think this is possible at the moment, but maybe I'm wrong? Is it a particularly challenging feature request?

What exactly is the question? The location of the database is noted in the FAQs and it's a standard SQLite database

@timo sorry for the incredibly slow reply.

So I appreciate the database is stored in SQLite, and the FAQs advice on this.

I think what I'm saying is: It would be really helpful to have the database more accessible. I appreciate this is relatively non-technical feedback, as I don't know much about SQlite. I just know that I cannot import the database to Excel (or at least not without additional software), whereas I would like to be able to make a data connection in Excel to import the data directly, rather than manually exporting to XLSX, and importing that.

I hope that's helpful - it's perhaps more of a comment / feedback than a question 🙂
