Time tracking screen: Have option to not use "Group by work units"

I really like this app and use to track my time.
I use very basic features and prefer compact UI.

I do not use "Group Work units" feature and would love to have that optional / option to hide if not required.
And it seems current space for individual entries can be made compact to have more tasks visibility.

overall, would love to see option to have Time tracking screen much more compact.

I'm not sure if I correctly understand this feature request. Is it the same as this one? Do you want to have no grouping at all and just a single (flat) list of all your work units?
Can you explain in more detail what the benefits of that would be?

Everything works just fine. It's just turn off visibility of group by.
It's just from UI perspective; it will make UI more compact to have visibility of more entries in single page.
For my personal use, I don't really use group by feature.
I just use it to track for specific day only.
Hope this makes sense.
