"Hidden tasks" filter

Hello,

I am encountering a bug when using the “hidden tasks” filter.

If I uncheck “hidden tasks” in “time tracking” and then go to the “tasks” section, the “hidden tasks” filter is removed.
However, if I uncheck “hidden tasks” in “time tracking” and then go to the “analytics” section (or vice versa), the setting is saved.
Deselecting “hidden tasks” and then going to “tasks”, “tags”, or “pomodoro” causes the setting to be forgotten.

If I choose not to display “hidden tasks”, this setting should always be remembered until I remove it myself.

The filter is disabled when navigating to a page that doesn't support the filter (or where the filter doesn't make a difference), e.g. the "Tags", "Tasks" and "Focus Session" page. This is not a bug but working as intended.
Why do you need the filter active pon the Task overview page? Do you want to see a list of only the hidden tasks or a a list only the visible tasks?

Thank you very much for your quick response.

I would like to see only the list of “visible tasks” by default.

Once it has been invoiced and paid, I hide the task so that I can see only what I have left to do. I could also delete the task, but I would like to keep a history for a while.

belair Why do you need to see the visible tasks only in the tasks list and why is it not an option to sort the list by visibility?

I mainly use the “time tracking” and “analytics” tabs for invoicing. I don't see any sorting by “visibility” for these tabs. Sorting by "visibility" in “tasks” does not carry over to the other tabs. Is there another solution?

If you dont want to see your hidden tasks in the Analytics, you can uncheck them in the filter on the Analytics page. Is this not what you are looking for?

As I wrote before, it's currently expected behavior that the filter is being disabled when you navigate to a screen where the filter doesn't apply. Would you want the filter to stay enabled because you keep the filter enabled during for longer periods of time in which you navigate through the various pages of the app?

Actually, I already use this option by unchecking hidden tasks in the “Analytics” tab.

That's exactly it: I would like the filter to remain enabled by default, without having to reactivate it every time I add a new task.
