I wish the pricing was a little more transparent/easy-to-find. I downloaded the Mac version and it says it's $9.99 to upgrade to Pro, but it doesn't say if that's one-time, annually, or monthly? (It seems like it's one-time, which is good, but I had to google for it.)

Will that license work also on my iPhone or do I have to pay a separate one-time fee? Can I use the software on two different laptops? The whole point for me is to be able to log my time whether I'm on one of my Macs (work or home) or my phone. I don't mind paying a few dollars more for the other platform, as long as they're synced.

TimG Sorry you don't find the pricing transparent.
This is what you should see in the Pro version page on macOS:

As you can see, it says "One-time payment - NO susbcription" in the list, so I am confused that this wasn't clear to you. Was this item not showing for you or not visible enough?

Your second question is also answered on this screen - the button says "Buy for macOS" and the "More info" button below links to this FAQs page with a more detailed instruction.

How can I improve the Pro version dialog and/or the FAQ page?

Why can't I just log into the app and buy the subscription? It wants my apple sign in, NOT DOING THAT.

Apple requires apps distributed through the App Store to use the Apple payment system. This is the reason why it's required. You are not entering your Apple ID and password into my app, but into a dialog from the App Store

There needs to be a way to be able to buy with a credit card, and associate that with my account. When I log into the app, it should work.. I am NOT going to enter my Apple ID and password into your app.

Hi TimO, well the dialog looks like your app. If I go back to the app sore and redownload the app, I don't mid paying for it.
