I love using Working Hours for time tracking. I’d like to track additional non-time metrics alongside my work units—e.g., Kilometers driven on a workday—without affecting hour totals.
Proposal
Allow users to define custom numeric metrics (e.g., “Kilometers”, “Expenses”, “Units”) that can be added per work unit (similar to Custom Value Tags).
In Analytics, show period totals for these metrics (day/week/month/custom range), side-by-side with hours.
Keep them separate from time (no change to hour sums).
Optional: enable filtering by metric and include export as dedicated columns.
Why?
Many workflows require tracking distance, quantities, or counts in parallel with time. Having these metrics summarized in Analytics would remove manual spreadsheets and make reports more complete.
Related discussions show interest in entering values (e.g., km) and exporting custom values as columns, but they’re not currently aggregated in Analytics.
