automatic time adjustment is annoying

Hi,
not sure whether this is a bug report or feature request.
often when i leave the pc and come back the next day I forget to end the timer (or didn't know I am not coming back this day). Then I have the following issue:
Lets say I worked from 10am to 12am. The work duration is correct: 2 hours. But the start time is 10am and the end time is 11:59 pm, midnight. I have a new working unit starting on 00:01 the next day. This would be ok, if I could edit the work units afterwards. But I can't.

If I edit the end-time, the work duration changes. If I edit the work duration, the start time changes. And if I edit the start time, the end duration changes. This automatic adjustment often leaves me with a messed up work unit that I have to delete and create new. In the best case I still have all three attributes in mind.

When exactly did you stop the timer? What exactly shows on the screen and what action do you take when there's a dialog?

Please provide a reproducible example? I tried setting up the work unit as you described:

Then I performed the following actions:

toggled PM to AM
changed 59 min to 0 min
changed 11 h to 12 h
duration/working time is now 2 h

The working time is always adjusted to match the changed times. You can always manually edit the time directly (but then start and end time are adjusted if needed, since there cannot be a work unit that is longer than the difference between start and end time)

I somehow was not able to reproduce the behaviour myself. I will post here again if I encounter it again and will take screenshots.
