Sync Not Working

Good morning Timo.

WorkingHours version: 2.13.11.0 (Windows computer), 2.12.8 Android phones
OS + version: Windows 10, Phones: #1 Android Version 15, #2 Android Version 13

I have been using Working Hours Pro since 10/2021 and have exclusively used the Windows version to track time. I have worked from home for many years and have recently expanded services to visit client locations. I just installed the program on 2 Android phones using Google Play. The only version I found did not say "Pro". There was no issue setting up and accessing the database. However, when I sync the data it only shows time through September 4, 2024. All time since then is not synced. It is the same issue for both phones.

After doing some reading on your site, it seems that all devices must have the same WH Pro program version. I checked the versions for each and the phones have 2.12.8 (downloaded from Google Play Store today) and Windows is 2.13.11.0. I believe that Windows has the most current version since the program required that I do an update when I started it today. Please let me know how I can get the most current version for my phones.

I decided to remove all hours prior to January 1, 2025 and revise the Tasks and Tags to more closely align with the type of work I am currently doing. I pressed "Sync Now" and received a message that "Local and remote databases are already in sync" however all the deleted data is still on both phones. Is there a step I am missing?

This sounds like either the sync on your Windows is disabled or is using a different account for syncing - you can check that in the app settings.
You don't need to have the same version on all devices, but I would recommend updating to the latest version on Windows (2.13.11 is not the latest one) and making sure that the sync is enabled.

timo I just assumed that the windows version I had was the latest because the program did the update when I opened it.
What is the latest version and where can I find it?

I also went through all the settings and made sure of the account that was being used for syncing.

Is there a way to change the account to use as a test to see if the sync is going to work?

Update: I downloaded the latest version of WH Pro from the Microsoft store 2.14.7.0. I will verify the cloud sync logins and let you know if I still have issues with syncing to my phones.

I downloaded WH Pro to my new computer using my business email account. I initially purchased WH Pro using my personal email account but I changed the login credentials in the app in early August and it has worked until now. I just tried to use the app on the new computer and received this message: "7 day evaluation period of the Pro version has expired. In order to continue using all features of the app, please consider buying the Pro version." As I mentioned in earlier posts, I purchased the Pro version a few years ago and recently downloaded it again to install on a new computer which replaced the previous one. I understand that the license is bound to the app store account. I purchased the app for my desktop and laptop from Microsoft and their account shows that. Please advise what needs to happen next.

Please see the Pro version FAQs. The purchase is bound to the account you buy it with. It cannot be transferred to another account.
If the pro version isn't recognized on a new device, then you didn't download it with the correct account. The pro version can only be bought once with single Microsoft account.
