app closing after selecting 'add tag' ?

This morning the app unexpectedly closed (x4) after selecting 'add tag', as a result the app is not currently usable!

This appears to be be no longer an issue after attempting again after on hour

There is a known issue that is related to the "pause/resume" notification - do you have those enabled in the settings? If yes, disabling it should resolve the problem. It will also be fixed in v2.14.4
