Salary Increase

I'd would be nice to have the option to add an permanent salary increase to a task. So then the increased salary is used after the effective date. This would help with tracking the payment of long term jobs.
I know you can add a tag for this but I use tags sparsely and wouldn't like to add one to every new working unit and I think the tracking is confusing with the tag system.

Congratulations to the increased salary!
Since the database schema doesn't support it, adjusting the wage value in the app would affect all, incl. past work units. You would need to create a new task with the new salary or, as you said, use a "earnings adjustment tag" that you add to newly created work units and which reflect the increase (but I understand if that's not an option for you).
