exported timeline entries are not as seen in the Working hours app

i dont know what i am doing wrong to always see the excel report timing messed up - spent hours devouring the FAq but in vain , i dont know even if its a bug , but posting here following your answer to the thread. And thanks a lot for this app and also Diarium, have got the pro versions both for desktop and mobiles for both the apps, You are a genius to get us such simple but highly effective apps. tried many and resorted to these , since then have been heavily recommending to my friends and reddit groups. Have already left reviews on the store for both! thanks in ton! looking for a resolution for the above issue of min , attaching some images

Is the filter active when you do the export?
Can you please post a screenshot of your export settings page?

SOrry , i am not getting the part about the filter being active when i do the export, i have attached screenshots of the task and tag filter in the timeline page of the app

Thank you - I see that you are "grouping by work unit description". And as a result, the excel file is also sorted by Work unit description. I am not sure if I want to change the behavior, I think it's not too big of a deal (unless more users complain about it) and when I now change the order, I am risking that users who rely on the current behavior are upset. I had a similar case recently when I changed the formatting of the times

timo Fyi even if work unit description is not set for grouping i dont see the timelines exported in the exact same order as seen in the app page . What work around do you suggest to try for me to just see the tasks in the exported Excel files to be same as seen in the main timeline page like 8-9,9-10 ..

ArthiJayaprakasham I cannot reproduce the problem when disabling the "additional grouping". Again, please post an (updated) screenshot of your export screen

okay when i turn off the additional grouping it gives me only a single row

I guess when exported if the work unit description is set to be in the order of "most recently used first" instead of alphabetical order my issue would be sorted, there is no way i can sort the work unit description (i.e when i set the additional grouping to be sorted by work unit description)
