summing of time column

After looking at the FAQ searching for time column summing on the exported Excel file, I did find where the format was changed (or added to) on the last update.
Someone else had a similar issue and had made a few suggestions for work around.
One suggestion was converting the excel file to CSV, and this works.
When opening the CSV file in Excel, the time duration values can be summed in Excel vs the exported Excel file where they cannot.
We parse (sort) the data for ongoing time projects so cutting and pasting the entries and summing the duration is a necessity.
All that being said, would there be a way to add a CSV export option to the export function?
That would keep from converting the file to CSV after export and reconverting back to Excel to use in other Excel sheets.

Just to quickly follow up. I did find on the Android app on a tablet or phone the ability to choose export to CSV.
This actually solves the problem above.
I did not find that option on the windows desktop app originally, but it seems to follow the choice in the Android app when chosen.
The only other comment (more of a feature add) would be to be able to edit the order of the export columns.
I was glad to have found the easy solution on the export of the file format.
The app is really working well for our application and my thanks to Timo.

I'm not sure if I understood completely. With the time format "10.55" the data is still written as "number" and there should be no issues summing up that column. Why is that not working?

You can also export to CSV in the Windows app, you just need to select it here in the Windows save dialog:
