Short description: When exporting my hours to an Excel file, the hours don't match what is shown in the analytics tab, even though the same filters apply. When exporting to subtotal, no values show up at all. I am pretty sure my filters are correct, because I did not change them since a week ago when everything still worked as expected.
Long Description:
Steps to reproduce:
I open working hours, go to analytics, select the whole month of October (all tags enabled, all tasks enabled). I check the amount of hours I worked, per tag and per task. I have one task with 60h, which covers multiple projects I assigned tags, so 10h Project 1, 20h project 2, ... so that in total it sums up to 60.
Now, I go to the export tab and also choose the whole month of october, all tasks, all tags, and select group by tags, no additional grouping. I only include "Arbeitszeit" and "Summenzeile" from the check boxes below. Then I press "Rechnung erstellen". Subtotal opens, a new invoice is created, but there is no entries show up (so total invoice is 0€).
Back in Working hours, I now export to an excel file with the same settings to check which hours where selected. I keep the same settings. When I open the excel file, there grouping by tags worked, however, the hours per tag don't match what I saw in the Analytics tab: One tag has 0 hours, but should have about 20, the others have the correct time. The "Summenzeile" has a number that is not the sum of the numbers presented above, neither the actual sum from analytics nor the sum of numbers in the excel file.
Observed behaviour: Excel File is missing hours for one of the tags, and the Summenzeile is incorrect. SubTotal does not recieve any hours. Last week, this still worked.
Expected behaviour: For the same filters, the analytics tab, the excel export and the SubTotal Export contain the same amount of hours.
Additional information that might be helpful:
- I already tried reinstalling the app, deleting and reimporting the database and restarting my MacBook.
- I have two users on my MacBook, one for work and one for personal use. On both, I open the working hours app and the subtotal app. I didn't have any issues with this setup before.
- I use google drive to sync my db between these two users and an android phone (Pixel 6, Android 14)
- Today is the first time I see any issues with the export. It still worked a week or two ago, so maybe I corrupted my working hours database somehow or an app update changed the behaviour?
I am not comfortable to share screenshots in a public forum, as they include business data. However, you can contact me and I can show you the bug or send you some more info in private.
I hope this is everything you need! Maybe I also just made a configuration mistake and this is easily fixable?
Thank you for your help!
