Timer pausing on Mac

My timer now regularly pauses whilst I am still working on my Mac. I do not want it to pause unless I ask it to
Is it possible to disable this feature?
Ideally the timer should start then not stop until I stop it

Is it possible you enabled the idle detection feature in the app settings? The timer doesn't stop without a reason 🙂
