Where is the setting to set time picker to 15 minute increments?

That's it. It used to be set. It's in one minute increments now. I don't know how to change it back.

It has been removed because users were confused about how it worked. As a replacement, there is now an alternative time picker

What I'm hearing is that it was a popular feature which people are voicing concerns over losing. If feedback is being considered - I vote to have start and stop time as optional fields with a single field where I can punch in a number with decimal (e.g. 1.25). Splitting up time fields takes too much time, having more numbers (1-60 vs 15 min increments) on those drop downs takes more time. The new alternative (on desktop at least) always has pre populated numbers in it which need to be erased, which also takes more time. My biggest draw to this product was its simplicity.

If none of that is on the roadmap I'd at least like the option to have the 15 minute increments back. it was optional - if it wasn't liked it could be off by default. Maybe with modified labeling to improve the ux.

I was not able to reproduce that problem. When I select the time in the new time picker, the whole text is selected automatically and you can just start typing, which will override the existing value. Is this really not the case for you?
In my experience the new time picker is much faster and needs less clicks

It was optional, but many users enabled it without understanding what the setting actually does and I kept getting dozens of "bug reports" claiming the app is calculating times wrong (see here for an example)

timo I also want the option back to set time in 15 min timeframe. It is very frustrating to see every minute and to scroll to the relevant 15 min timeframe. If other users were confused with 15 min timeframes they should get help, why would you take away an option for all users if some struggle with the settings?

I totally understand the reasons for your removal of this feature. On the other hand, I mourn its loss and it makes the time picker far more cumbersome for my use. (My preferred increment was 10 minutes, mostly because that corresponded with the time intervals for Upwork's time logging.) Perhaps if the feature is off by default and hidden behind an "Advanced" section in the time picker configuration (with appropriate warning text)?

P.S. I'd like the granularity to affect the new time picker's up and down arrows as well. 🙂

If I ever decide to add this back again, then I would make the start/end times round as well and the setting not only affect the time picker precision. I will track this request here.
