Misleading default behavior in analytics with multiple labels on a task

Maybe I'm not using labels correctly but I'm surprised by the current behavior:
I have 2 labels, with types Default and Standard Working Hours respectively, that are both automatically assigned to a task of mine. So far, so good.
Now, in the Analytics panel, if I select the Tags view, the time spent on that single task, or the earnings from it, are doubly counted in the Total, which is especially misleading in the Bars view since the bars stack up.
Of course I can deselect one of the labels to get something useful, but I feel like the default behavior doesn't make much sense. Is there a use case for summing time/earnings from labels with different types ? Am I using these features incorrectly ?

The same topic has been discussed here previously.
I don't see it as a bug and I don't know how to better display the data. The only "solution" I could come up with would be to disable the bar chart when using the "tags" mode in the analytics page or vice versa.
What's you suggestion?

Maybe there are two sub-topics here really. What feels buggy to me is mostly that the total is inaccurate and shows twice the time I spent or the amount that I'll actually bill, and this doesn't change whether I use bars or lines.
My suggestion would be allow viewing tags by categories.

What do you mean with "categories"? Can you give some example? Ideally on the linked thread to focus the discussion on one location.
I could also just remove the "Total" data point when the "tag mode" is used, but what is won then?

timo I wrote "categories" but meant "types" (of tags). I already gave an example for that: tagging the same task with a "default" tag and a "standard working hours" one only makes sense for me if I can analyze them separately. I don't fancy having to constantly fight against the default behavior so if I cannot convince you that it is a hurdle in my intended workflow I'll probably just keep my use of tag restricted to indicate one thing (which for me will be clients). Thanks anyway.

If you just want to see one "category" (so for example you only want to see the data tagged with the default tag), you could just disable the other tags by clicking on them in the Analytics page or filter them out completely using the filter.
