Timer does not start when I logs in to Windows

I recently realized that the timer has not auto-started when I log in to Windows 11, it usually starts and I don't need to worry about manually clicking on "Start work" button, but I had to re-arrange my working time when I almost finished my day. I repeated at least all this time during the last week.

I checked on Settings that Start/resume timer is set on "When the user logs in to Windows" option and it is there. Please, help with this issue.

WorkingHours version: 2.10.26.0
OS + version: Windows 11Pro version 23H2
OS Build: 22631.3593
Device model: Laptop Lenovo Core i7

If this feature isn't working, then Windows isn't informing WorkingHours about the log-on event. Perhaps the background task for WorkingHours is blocked in the Windows settings, could you double-check that please?

timo Hello, I looked into App Settings and enabled Runs at the log-in option, after restarting or shutting down and starting OS again, the app auto-launches, but the timer does not start automatically like it did in the past. it seems it's something is not working properly.

Now, when I tried to perform disable/enable from Task Manager on Windows 11, I went through Properties and an error came out suddenly,

Should I re-install the app? I will try and let you know how it goes because the timer helps me track the start working time and I don't need to worry about doing it manually.

I was referring to the option above the one you highlighted. Did you try set the "background app permission" to a different value, so that it is not "battery optimized"?

I didn't understand what you tried to do with the task manager.

timo On task manager I tried to view app properties. And I got that error message. Now, the issue was solved by re-installing the app, coincidentally, there was a Windows 11 update, and the application started to work correctly, I will let you know if the same problem occurs again.
