End a task is not synced over devices

When I start a task on my Mac (14.5), the task starts on my iPhone (17.5.1) too - fine. But when I end the task on the Mac it still continues on the iPhone. WorkingHours in on both devices up to date. iCloud Sync is active.

How could I achieve, that when ending a task on one device, it also stops on the other device.

Please read the Sync FAQ ("How does the sync work?"). The sync doesn't trigger immediately after a change was made.
