Usecase: I'm tracking several different activities as different tasks which I use throughout the day. Currently I have to stop an existing task and start a new one when I want to switch over. A functionality to switch in one step to continue work with a new task would be great for that.

Example:

Start tracking time at 8 with task "development"
Meeting stsrts at 9 - quick switch to task "meetings"
8-9 is one entry of task development with 1h duration
a new entry is startet at 9 and is running with task meeting

WorkingHours version: 2.10.21
Operating system: Android 14
Device model: Galaxy S23

I assume you mean "work unit" instead of "task", see here for the terminology.
You could do something like that with the widget already. Do you need something like that in the app itself?

Hi, sure, you are right with the terminology - thx for clarification.

You are right. That would be a way, still not using the widget at all so it would be great to see this in the app as well.

However, I understand if you would not consider it as it is already avail via the widget.

Thx for point me towards the widget functionality.
