Time picker - gone?

WorkingHours version: 2.10.16.0
OS + version: Windows 10, 22H2

Looks like time picker has changed in the latest version of Working Hours.
In the previous version, this is how start/end of work looked like:

However, with this new version, I have this:

Is there a way to revert to the old look ?

I have removed the setting to choose between the old and new time picker because I think the vast majority used the new one (the one in the bottom screenshot) and the removed allowed for a lot of code simplification.
What exactly is the problem with that time picker? What advantages do you see in the old one? Would you ever have "missed" a better time picker if you never had the old one?

There is no problem per se, it's only matter of habit. I used the old one from the beginning and I'm used to it.
Is there a way for me to revert to the old version and just keep using that one without updating please?

No, I don't plan to revert to the old time picker if there isn't any "real" problem with the new date picker (which isn't that new because it already was the default time picker for at least 3 years).
In order for me being able to keep the app up-to-date, sometimes there have to be changes. If I just kept adding new things and keep (mostly unneeded) options, the app would suffer from feature creep

Timo, I don't think you understood my question. The question is - can I keep using the old version, and if so, how?

I'm quite happy with it as it was before, and don't care about new features. I did not have any issues with it either, so I'd be happy if I keep using the previous version.

dcabro No, you can not revert to an old version. If you don't want any future updates, you can disable automatic updates in the Microsoft Store - but I would not recommend that

Hi, @timo, I feel the same way @dcabro. I think the key is how number spinner is handled. As a user, I feel the previous version, where you have an enlarged window to spin number, is pretty nice. The current version is same as the default HTML number input spinner, where up/down arrows are cramped together in a small window, is not as easy to use. Specifically, I use mouse middle wheel to scroll the numbers; I need to keep cursor inside the input box area so that my mouse does not trigger scrolling of the whole right side panel.

Though I do have the idea of having an input box instead of only relying on spinning (like previous version). Having an input box that has a custom spinner will be perfect. The custom spinner will be replacing the default up/down spinner with the old time picker.

cding91 Initially, I only had one time picker (the "old" one), but many, many users found it cumbersome to use on Desktop - especially because you always need to confirm the time selection by clicking the checkmark button. The old time picker was designed for mobile devices and touch input (Windows Phone) but basically noone is using a touch input nowadays on Windows. That's why I made the new time picker and also made it the default - the complaints stopped. I believe the vast majority prefers the current "new" time picker.
I really don't want to maintain two separate time picker layouts (I believe other time tracking apps aren't doing that either) so if there are things that could be improved with the new one, I am willing to try that.
I am not sure what you mean with adding a spinner to the input box. Do you know any other app or website that has such a time picker and if so, could you share a screenshot? The advantage of the current time picker is that it doesnt cover up other UI elements when expanded. The side panel only scrolls when you have a small window or a lot of text in the "Details" field.

That's okay. After a couple of months, I think I have gotten used to the current time picker.

About the "spinning", I cannot easily find a good example, and I don't think you need to change anything. But I remember the old one on PC is pretty cool. When the time selection window opens, I can movable cursor a bit and see the time (hour or minute) spin like a slot machine. Probably not the most efficient time picker but definitely a fun one.
