Remove trailing spaces in descriptions

Can the app remove trailing spaces when I enter a task or work description? I have a keyboard (Swiftkey on iOS) that is not working cleanly and adds a space at the end and if I am not diligent about backspacing it, I get entries that look the same but are considered different by the software because one has a trailing space. I think it would improve robustness for all if trailing spaces were discarded from entries.

The description text (the single, top line) or work units & tasks should already be trimmed and contain no trailing white space after saving. Isn't that the case for you?
That change was however only recently introduced (₂ months ago) so maybe the trailing spaces you see are from work units created with an older app version?
