Custom sorting order for tasks

I am using tasks and have them sorted in a custom order (screenshot 1).
In the analysis they are indeed listed in that order as expected (screenshot 2). However, when I start a new work unit and want to assign the task, the task list for selection is in reverse order (screenshot 3).
How can I change this to get a consistent order everywhere?

This is how iOS logic for those menus work. The "top" item is always the one closest to the button (or the "root" of the menu). If the menu would expand below the button, the sort order would be flipped
