Checkbox to link working time to end of work.

For consideration:
Add a checkbox off the end of "Working time" that if checked, manual editing of the "working time" would auto adjust the "end of work" time, vs the current implementation - which the current implementation being available with the said box unchecked.

Current implemenation: The end of work remains as was if the working time is edited to be smaller than the duration. If the end of work is edited to be an increase the working time is increased. If the end of work is edited to be a decrease from as was, the working time is only decreased if the end of work would cause the duration to be less than the entered working time. Current implementation is a logical real world application as-is, but it would be nice to be able to checkbox to strict lock working time to end of work for some use cases, where a user needs the duration of time worked to always equal the working time.

Or perhaps my need is too niche..

Not sure if I understood correctly but you can enable the "show break" option in the settings, then it will show a small button next to the breaks that sets the break to zero, which makes working time = duration

Zeroing break does bring the working time to match the end of work, but that is not what I am after.
To recreate what I am after (in a quick over-simplified fashion):
a.) Add work unit, set the working time to 3 hours. Save. Notice that end of work is 3 hours after the start of work.
b.) Change working time to 2 hours. Save. Notice that the end of work stays at 3 hours after the start of work.
My request is add a checkbox off the right side of working time, that when checked - would have caused that changing of working time from 3 hours to 2hours - would have resulted in the end of work auto changing to 2 hours later than the start of work, instead of end of work remaining at the 3 hours later than the start of work.
Also: my proposed checkbox may need the prerequisite option of choosing break to be hidden, before the checkbox could be shown - so to not make coding out the time tracking a recursive mess.

Thanks for the additional explanation, I now understood what you mean.
You could edit the end time field instead of the working time field to avoid inserting breaks.
I only want to add additional UI elements when I see it really necessary, to avoid cluttering the UI. That is why I am hesitant to consider adding such a checkbox.
